Amenities at the outdoor pool include: full locker-rooms, lounge chairs, umbrellas and a concessions area. The outdoor pool is open from sunrise to sunset on weekdays and standard club hours on weekends.
Properties of rebound, speed, travel, surface and suspension are utilized for a well-balanced water workout. Props, such as noodles and handbells, may also be used for stability and added resistance. Classes in indoor & outdoor pool.
Water Babies - Under 18 months. Parents and child will learn basic water safety and introductory swimming skills including holds
and cues. The goal of this class is to help develop comfort and love of the water at a young age.
Mommy and Me - Ages 18months to 3years Parents and child will learn basic water safety and introductory swimming skills including holds, cues, basics pulls, kicks, and flotation. The goal of this class is to help develop comfort and love of the water at a young age.
Toddlers - Ages 3-4. Parents are asked not to participate, but may watch from a distance. Participants become familiar with the water, getting in and out of the pool, assisted floating, assisted kicking, blowing bubbles, getting head and face wet and kicking in the prone position. Maximum of 5 participants per class
Beginners - Ages 5-6. Designed for children with little or no swimming ability. Participants will practice assisted and unassisted floating, getting their heads wet, kicking in the prone position assisted and unassisted, and arm strokes. Most children will learn how to swim in the class. However, some may need a second set of lessons. Max of 5 participants in the class.
Intermediate A - Ages 6-12. Designed for children that can get around in the water; however, need basic stroke development. Participants should be able to float on their back and swim unassisted for ½ the length of the pool. Swimmers will learn swimming techniques for the backstroke and freestyle. Maximum of 7 participants.
Technique - This group is designed for swimmers ages 6-14 who have a basic understanding of swimming and can make it across the entire length of the pool. Swimmers will improve technique in the freestyle and backstroke and learn the basics of breaststroke and butterfly. Maximum of 10 participants.
Pool parties may be scheduled on Saturday or Sunday. Please inquire at the front desk.

Meetings--There will be required Parent/Swimmer Meetings please plan to attend one of the following:
Wednesday May 24th @ 6pm or Saturday May 27th @ 11am Ages – 5 – 18 (kids will be split into age appropriate groups)
Goals – The goals of the program are to introduce children to swimming as a lifelong sport and fitness activity and develop swimming skills. Children who are not currently comfortable in the water will be encouraged to participate in swim lessons prior to enrolling in the program.
Attire – Swim suits will not be provided but are required. Our coaching staff will communicate uniform requirements during the parent meeting and via e-mail. We also have a team t-shirt you may order using the attached form.
As with every program of this nature, parental involvement is crucial to its success. We will be asking that all parents give a few hours to aid in the success of the program. Opportunities for parent involvement will be discussed at the parent meetings.
There will only be 75 kids allowed in the program. Slots are filled on a first come first serve basis, with preference given to members.
